Coaches will always strive to have children out playing hockey on the astro turf for as much of the day as possible. For lunch and break times we may go inside (location dependant).
We have in place contingency plans for such events. Again, venue dependant, we sometimes are able to play indoor hockey. We also plan quizzes and rules games all related to hockey which we can engage the children in indoors.
Often in the morning we spend time developing the technical side of the game, where children learn new skills and refine their current ones. Followed by a morning break; then we practise what we have learnt in game play situations until lunchtime. After lunch, we look at more game play moves and decision making before an afternoon break. This is usually followed by challenges and then tournaments and matches.
Due to staff, equipment and facility costs, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds. Individual extenuating circumstances will be considered.
Cancellations of any of our camps or master-classes due to the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions will not be refunded, again due to costs already committed.
No, there are no 2 camps the same! Our coaches work tirelessly to ensure exercises and drills are innovative and never repetitive.
